Our home studio, thoughtfully designed within a three-room HDB flat, reflects the lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic. The experience of being confined to a limited space inspired the concept of creating a multifunctional home that seamlessly adapts to diverse needs. This design emphasizes the use of wood and a harmonious palette of brown tones to evoke a sense of warmth and comfort amidst Singapore's urban environment. To further enhance the atmosphere, indoor plants have been carefully integrated into the interiors, creating a serene sanctuary that fosters a connection with nature while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.

This home design concept embraces a monochromatic colonial British interior theme, seamlessly blending traditional elements with modern functionality. The house, being an older property with limited space, benefits from thoughtful design interventions that maximize its aesthetic and practical potential. A standout feature of the design is the olive green kitchen, complemented together with the jade stone accents, evoking the lush greenery reminiscent of kampong days. As evening falls, the space transforms, exuding a charming vintage ambiance that enhances its timeless appeal.
